Jackson Days – Celebrate our community with special events on this train.

We are celebrating the history of our town with a visit from Andrew Jackson. You can expect a train robbery, watermelon and lemonade at the village and games for the kids. Please call to put your name on the reservation list and you will be assured of seats.

    Come take a ride back in time on the St. Louis Iron Mountain & Southern Railway.  Relax in one of our two 1925 coach cars or our 1950's streamliner pulled by a"Pennsylvania Diesel #5898" built in 1950.  Let the sights and sounds of the historic "Iron Mountain" line spirit you away to the glory of the passenger train era.

    The St. Louis Iron Mountain & Southern Railway, the region's only full size passenger train, has become a "must" for rail fans and those too young to remember the adventure that accompanied train travel.

    Whether you have a couple of hours or a day to take in the other attractions of Southeast Missouri, you will enjoy the stories of Jesse James, Bonnie and Clyde, Hobo History, and the pioneering spirit that made the Iron Mountain one of America's great railroads!
